Ms. Jennifer Pighee, is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. Growing up, she always loved cheering and dancing. As a little girl she started her cheer/dance career cheering for an AAU basketball team, and she is now living out her dreams one day at a time. From 1997-2002, she cheered in middle school and high school. While attending Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School, she became co-captain her junior year, and during her senior year she was named head captain of the cheerleading team. Also during her high school years her dance career began to soar.  She became a member of the Performing Arts Dance Program at her high school increasing her dance skills in jazz, tap, ballet, modern, and musical theatre. When not cheering for her high school or taking a dance class, she was traveling to competitions with the Cheer Central Braves. She was a member of the small coed all-star cheer team. Upon graduating from high school, she received a scholarship to cheer at the University at Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She cheered for 4 years, becoming head caption her senior year, and her last semester, she danced as a UAPB M4 Golden Girl. While in college she was an instructor for the local cheer gym, Cheer Challenge. After graduation she went back to her hometown high school, and became the Parkview Cheer Coach from 2007-2010. In 2008, she became the UAPB  M4 Golden Girl Coordinator and in 2016 she was named M4 Golden Girls Director. After 15 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South Golden Girl program, she retired as director in July 2023. In March of 2016, she stepped out on faith opening JAMcity, focusing on instilling core values, morals, and standards in each child enabling them to increase their faith while decreasing their fear. She strives to encourage healthy short and long term goal-setting and positive ways to achieve them. She promotes self-discipline, self-growth, self-efficacy, academics, proper social interactions, positive decision-making, problem-solving skills, and overall self-confidence. She offers private lessons, semi-private lessons, team and community camps and clinics, leadership trainings, and team or individual choreography. The motto she lives by: “Sometimes the people around you won’t understand your journey. They don’t need to, it’s not for them. So follow your passion, it will lead to your purpose, and it will one day become your profession.”
